Oh – and Award-Winning.

Gold Medal – Best Independent Retailer
Soil Association

The judges said: “We were extremely impressed by the attention to detail of sourcing really good local and organic food in the Ross-on-Wye area. Their approach to make living and eating organically as easy as possible must be complimented – mouth-watering displays of product.”

Joint Runners-Up with Waitrose – Best Organic Retailer
Natural & Organic Europe Awards

In this award we were recognised as one of the country’s top 3 organic retailers, in what is the equivalent of the Oscars in our industry (showing we punch well above our weight)! We received the coveted title not only for the depth and breadth of our range of organic products, but also for our customer service.

What We Do

We love really good food.

Organic means good food as it should be; not adulterated, faked or pumped full of stuff none of us should be eating.

There’s a depth to the taste that flavour enhancers just can’t mimic. Aside from that, it’s good for the environment, animal welfare and most importantly our family’s health.

That’s why we’ve packed our award-winning little shop here in the heart of Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, full of everything organic – and customer service that means whatever you are looking for we’ll do our best to help.

So whether it’s a tasty chunk of Green & Black’s Organic Chocolate, some organic ingredients from trusted providers like Shipton Mill, or you’d like to pour through our extensive selection of organic beers, ciders and wines, we’re sure we’ll have something to suit your taste.

Who We Are
Team - small

Nice to meet you! We’re mother-and-son duo Pam and Luke, the owners. We moved from Bristol to take over Field Fayre and with backgrounds in food, drink and retail, we not only brought lots of knowledge with us but also a real passion for good food.

Since then we’ve got to know all the local organic producers and suppliers, enhancing the range and quality of produce available, introducing new services and most importantly (and the real fun part) got to know our customers very well.

It means you get great service, good advice and a warm welcome, from Luke, Pam or from Nicky, who has been with the shop since it started in 2004.
